The Experiment in Focus: La Dolce Vita

The Experiment has some sweet programs, but the gelato program in Italy may be the sweetest of them all.

Students on La Dolce Vita: Gelato, Food and Culture  not only sample gelato from Italy’s best gelaterias, they also learn how to make their own gelato from expert chefs. Parents need not worry about their sons and daughters getting a full course meal though. Experimenters also visit the culinary centers of Parma and Bologna where they learn about the history of cheesemaking, balsamic vinegar, pizza, and pasta.

Experimenter Tsian Beddoe and group leader Anthony Adragna teamed up to give us this glimpse into the 2011 program.
