Aspired by the peaceful and justful future of young Ethiopians, World Learning is committed itself to adding values to just Project Implementation!
I really appreciate all of it's approachs to Development works, that rather empowers the local community.
I can surely speak that we are seeing possitive impacts of World Learning and it's Golden Mission here in Ethiopia!
Tekalegn and other fellow young Ethiopians always say:
"Thanks to all who have supported us through World Learning!!"

Thank you Eshraq for responding and I apologize misunderstanding your whereabouts. I applaude your accomplishments. I am an instructor as a technical college in Georgia. I am also pursuing a doctoral degree in education. I have noticed an increase number of international students in the classroom today. Your post states that you wish to help the students integrate into the campus community. Do you find that communication barriers can impact the academic success of international students in predominantly English speaking classroom environments?

Thank you for responding.

Hello Adam,
Two reasons for my note to you; First my son Noah, a student at Occidental College, is currently completing his SIT study abroad program in Chile and is doing well and likes the program. Second my organization, One World Leadership Institute, is connecting schools in Kenya and the USA via our private social network. I have interns from some local colleges working with the USA schools and i would like to have a cup of tea and tell you more about the program. I have always thought that there is some possibility of a collaboration between us. Whenever I am speaking to my friend Mary Gannon, we agree that we are definitely working in similar areas.
I will look forward to your reply.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm still in the US finishing my master at SIT, and will start my practicum this coming January. I'm not sure how to answer your question since I'm still in the US, but I have been thinking a lot about what I'll do when I'm done with my MA, should I go home and find a job or should I stay here since there is a better opportunities for me in the US. I'm still debating with myself about that especially that IE still new in Saudi. So far, I'm thinking to apply in Saudi, Gulf area, and in the US, and the best opportunity I may have, I'll go for. I just don't want to do a regular job like an office job with nothing related to IE and what I really want to do for my future career. I want to work with students and with people not just with paperwork. Hope this answers your questions.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the US as a student. I admire how you got involved NAFSA as a forum to share your culture with others. Do you have plans to return to the US? What are you doing now that you are back home?

Just from reading this, I can tell it is a grand idea ...sharing the good that is often forgotten... What we often see and hear are the catastrophic happenings and hardly are stories of rescuers shared. Thank you!
